INFOSEC - 11 & 12

For these weeks, Sir Justin one again taught us about the Infrastructure Security. I learned the topic from the last course called DNETCOM. I was happy to learn that again and was able to focus in listening 'cause that's what I want though. Then Sir Justin asked us if we learned something for this INFOSEC. To be honest, I learned a lot for this term. There might be some that I didn't know but I was thankful that there are things that are worth for stock knowledge.

INFOSEC - 9 & 10

For these weeks, I was either absent or late in class. To be honest, I didn't know what my block learned that day and I was surprised that we were doing some math equations. I don't know what to do that time since they were starting to do the exercise and thanks to my groupmates (Buzon, Huliganga and Lu) I was able to cope up with the topic. By the way, the topic is about Cryptography.

INFOSEC - 7 & 8

The focus of the week 7 and 8 is about ethics and prevention. Ethics is about the expected behavior of their members from high-level standpoint. In companies, employees are expected to be at their best behavior and be professional at all times. Not only that but also the other things that the company would want them to know and act. As for the ethics of hacking back, it is an active cyber defense. It is defensive but offensive in nature. One example of this is if you were hacked, you will hack back to that person. As for prevention, a formula as been made for protection. Protection = Prevention + (Detection + Response) The formula is also known for the Operation Model of Computer Security since all of the technique and technology fall on either of the variables of the equation.

INFOSEC 5 & 6

Week 5 and 6 Some part of the week, Sir Justin checked our research paper. As he checked it, we also kept on revising and revising the paper to make it more feasible and understandable. Some part of it is discussion. We discussed the different policies and laws that would fit to different crimes. We also learned the definition of each laws and policies to better understand on what crimes it would fit. Lastly, we defended our research paper last July 15. We did our best and I guess Sir Justin is a bit impressed of it.

INFOSEC 3 & 4

The challenge for week 3 and 4 is the paper. You should have at least the introduction, problem statement and abstract in the said paper. But what I mean challenge is of course, reading, understanding and learning what topic you chose. It's a bit hard as I'm not totally familiar when it comes to mobile but I'll take this as a milestone in becoming successful one day.

INFOSEC - 1 & 2

For the 1st and 2nd week of the class in INFOSEC, it's more of an introduction to the subject itself. We discuss what information security means, the different types of security. What I really love about the subject is learning what better solutions you can use. I know there's a lot of solution that you can use but finding the better solution can actually lessen the attack.  I know it's just the 2nd week of the term, it makes me want to learn more along with my teammates. We actually didn't get how smart should the objective be but as we present our case study, we kept learning on what we should do and improve.
